About the venue

Admirals Park, Tower Gardens and West Park, found close to Chelmsford’s city centre, offers something for everyone. There are two public tennis courts that can be booked free of charge.  The booking system is being introduced to make it easier to get on court by booking in advance to guarantee availability. The tennis courts will remain free to use but we advise booking to reserve your court so it’s available when you turn up. These are located close to Tower Gardens public car park (restrictions apply). There is a well-equipped play area for the younger visitors to Chelmsford, as well as excellent formal gardens, conservation areas, and woodland and riverside walks
