Junior County Cup
Welcome to one of the biggest and best team events of the junior tennis season – this is the Junior County Cup.
Teams from every county in the nation come together for a series of regional and national events to uncover the champions.
There are six age groups of competitions for the Junior County Cup – 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 14U and 18U – giving young players a chance to compete with top talent around Britain.
Don't forget we also have the Adult County Cup tournament for open age group players.
All players must have an Advantage membership to compete.

The 18U County Cup is a one-off three-day team event taking place at venues around the country every year.
Who can play?
The 18U County Cup is for all junior players under the age of 18 (born between 2007-2014).
18U County Cup teams are made up of six to 10 players.
Players are selected / nominated by their county. If you wish to be considered for selection, please contact them directly. Details of county offices can be found here.

The 18U County Cup will take place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 March 2025

The Junior County Cup gives players the opportunity to represent their county in a team competition for junior players from 8U to 18U.
As with the 12U and 11U events, the 14U County Cup competition is played in two stages:
1. A Qualifying event played over two days
2. Finals played over three days.
Who can play?
The 14U County Cup is for all junior players under the age of 14 (born between 2011-2014).
14U County Cup teams are made up of four to six players.

County Cup events give players the opportunity to represent their county in a team competition for junior players from 8U to 18U.
As with the 14U, 11U, and 10U events, the 12U County Cup competition is played in two stages –

As with the 14U, 12U and 10U events, the 11U County Cup competition is played in two stages – a Qualifying event played over two days followed approximately a fortnight later by the Finals played over three days.
The 11U County Cup is played in two stages – a qualifying event taking place over two days followed by the finals, which are played over three days.
Who can play?
The 11U County Cup is for all junior players under the age of 11 (born between 2014-2015).
11U County Cup teams are made up of four to six players.

The 8U County Cup is a one day event for players and acts as an introduction to County Cup tennis and is aimed at players who have not competed in a County Cup event before.
Who can play?
The 8U County Cup is for all junior players under the age of eight (born 2017 or later).
8U County Cup teams are made up of four to six players per gender per team.

2023 Revised Structure for 14U, 12U, 11U (as of 1 January 2023)
County Cup Clothing (as of 1 January 2023)
The County Cup Race recognises a County’s performance in all County Cup events. Points will be allocated after each event, starting with the 18U event in March and will conclude with the Winter County Cup in November. The County with the most points across all events will be recognised as the overall County Cup Race Champion for that year. In addition, recognition will also be made to the county making the biggest year on year improvement on their previous year's final position.
- Points are awarded per County Cup Event (male and female events).
- For the Summer, Winter, Over 35s and 18U County Cup Events counties will receive ‘initial’ base points according to the group they are in and then additional (‘group’) points according to their final group position.
- The points for the 14U, 12U, 11U and 10U County Cup Events are cumulative based on their success at the group stage and the finals stage (if applicable).
- 9U teams are allocated group points only.
