Winning the Wimbledon title last year was an absolute dream come true. I want to bring that same level to the grass again this summer.

"Heading into the grass court season as the Wimbledon champion is going to be really special and I can't wait to compete at the LTA's HSBC Championships and Lexus Eastbourne Open," said Krejcikova.

"Winning the Wimbledon title last year was an absolute dream come true and one of the proudest memories in my career so far. I want to bring that same level to the grass again this summer.

"Having the chance to play at Queen's for the first time will be one of the highlights of the season for a lot of us players and I'm also excited to return to such an historic event like Eastbourne."

Krejcikova is a former Wimbledon and Roland Garros champion who has been ranked as high as world No.2 during her successful career so far.

Added to that, she’s also an eight-time WTA singles title winner, as well as a former Billie Jean King Cup champion with Czech Republic back in 2018.

A former doubles world No.1 as well, Krejcikova also boasts an incredible 10 women’s and mixed doubles Grand Slams, is a doubles WTA Tour Finals champion and a gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics.

As well as being the reigning Wimbledon champion, Krejcikova has enjoyed further success on the grass throughout her career having made the final of Birmingham back in 2023.

Krejcikova is yet to play an event so far in 2025 due to an ongoing back injury but is targeting a return to court as soon as possible.
