It’s time to decide who you think deserves the Player of the Month awards for May.
How does it work?
Every month, three players will be nominated for each of the following categories:
- Women’s singles
- Men’s singles
- Doubles
- Wheelchair
Voting closes on Friday 7 June at 23:59.

Women’s singles
- Won the biggest title of her career at the W75 Grado
- Defeated Kathinka von Deichmann 6-1, 7-5 in the final to rise 39 places in the rankings
- Lifted the W35 Nottingham title having only dropped one set
- Won the W35 Monzon singles trophy with a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Linda Klimovicova in the final
- Went undefeated in May
Ella McDonald
- Won her first professional singles title at the W15 Monastir – coming through qualifying to be crowned champion
- Also made two additional quarter-finals in Tunisia
Men’s singles
Billy Harris
- Reached the third round of qualifying at Roland Garros – the best result of his career
Charles Broom
- Won the M25 Nottingham – defeating Henry Searle 6-3, 6-3 in the final
- Reached the second round of the ATP Challenger in Kachreti
- Sealed his second title of the season at the M25 Santa Margherita di Pula
Doubles
- Progressed to the semi-finals of the Mutua Madrid Open ATP Masters event
- Quarter-final finish in Geneva and second round at the Italian Open
- Clinched his second ATP Tour title in Lyon with Finland’s Harri Heliovaara
- Won the Turin Challenger – beating Neal Skupski and Andreas Mies in the final
Luke Johnson
- Wrapped up his fourth ATP Challenger title of the season with Skander Mansouri at the Aix En Provence Challenger
- Reached a career-high ranking at world No.69
Wheelchair
- Went undefeated to help the Lexus GB World Team Cup men’s squad seal back-to-back titles
- Lifted the Internazionali BNL D'Italia doubles title with Alfie Hewett and reached the singles semi-final
- Won three matches from a set down to help the Lexus GB World Team Cup men’s squad win their second consecutive title
- Clinched the Internazionali BNL D'Italia singles and doubles titles in Rome
- Reached two doubles finals in Madrid and Barcelona
- Made a singles semi-final at XII Torneo Fundacion Emilio Sanchez Vicario
- Helped GB secure fifth spot at the World Team Cup
