Vote Andy Murray as your BBC Sports Personality of the Year

British No.1 and Aegon GB Davis Cup Team player Andy Murray could be in line for another trophy in 2015 after being nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

Alongside lifting the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas trophy with his teammates, the 2013 winner has enjoyed a fantastic year in which he finished the season ranked No.2 in the world for the first time.

Murray won a career-best 71 matches over the season, made the final of the Australian Open, semi-finals of the French Open and Wimbledon and won four titles on the ATP World Tour including a prestigious fourth at the Aegon Championships in June.

You can vote for Murray, who won all 11 of his rubbers as GB made history in being crowned World Champions for the first time since 1936, either online or by phone on Sunday 20 December.

The number to call for each contender will be revealed during the show which airs live from Belfast on BBC 1 at 6.50pm and is hosted by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan. You will not be able to vote via email, Red Button or text.
