Sun safety to the fore at the Rothesay Birmingham Classic

Spectators at the Rothesay Birmingham Classic will be provided with sunscreen samples and sun safety education as they attend the prestigious tournament at the Edgbaston Priory Club taking place 17-25 June, thanks to a partnership announced today between the LTA and NIVEA Sun.
The NIVEA Sun Safety Van, stationed at the tournament’s entrance, will provide sunscreen to help protect arriving spectators from the sun,and across the Priory Club there will be opportunities to win prizes and seek shade in the dedicated shade zones.

That includes protecting themselves from the sun while enjoying the world-class tennis and we’re delighted to be working with NIVEA Sun to raise awareness and engage our audiences to be sun safe.”

This year’s Rothesay Birmingham Classic will feature some of the world’s best tennis players including the legendary Venus Williams, and former Grand Slam winners Barbora Krejcikova and Jelena Ostapenko.
