Skupski and Koolhof reign supreme in s’Hertogenbosch with fifth title of the season

Neal Skupski and Wesley Koolhof have clinched their fifth ATP doubles title of the year so far at s’Hertogenbosch to kick start their grass court season.
Playing in Koolhof’s home nation, the British, Dutch duo beat Matt Ebden and Max Purcell 4-6, 7-5, 10-6 in an hour and 38 minutes.
Playing in their seventh final of the season already and first together on grass, Skupski and Koolhof add this week’s title to their impressive collection this year – including the Mutua Madrid Open, Doha, Adelaide and Melbourne.
A set an a break down in the final, Skupski and Koolhof found the mental strength to level the scores with a two breaks of their own in the final six game. After pulling ahead 2-0 in the match tie-break, Skupski and Koolhof never looked back as they led right the way through to see out the win.
Already top of the race to the ATP Finals later this year – Skuspki can expect to reach yet another career high ranking on Monday at No.8 in the world.
Skupski and Koolhof have shown up when it matters most this week, winning each of their in close match tie-breaks. The title sets them up nicely for the British grass court season with the two now heading to London for the cinch Championships.
