Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2025: Jack Draper drawn in the same half as Carlos Alcaraz & Casper Ruud
• 1 MINUTE READ
British No.1 Jack Draper is set for his first event on the clay this season at the ATP Masters 1000 in Monte-Carlo from 6-13 April.
The draw – which was announced on Friday – has Draper as the fifth seed which gives him a bye into the second round.
There he will meet the winner between Marcos Giron and former Wimbledon semi-finalist Denis Shapovalov.
In the third round, Draper would be projected to face 11th seed Ben Shelton – who he defeated en-route to the Indian Wells title a few weeks ago.
Draper has been drawn in the same quarter of the draw as fourth seed and former Roland Garros and US Open runner-up Casper Ruud – one of the most dangerous clay court players on the tour.
Should he reach the semi-finals, Draper would potentially meet reigning French Open and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz for the third time this season.
The main draw of the Monte-Carlo Masters starts on Sunday 6 April at 10:00 UK time, with all matches streaming live exclusively on Sky Sports and NOW TV.
