Katie Boulter confirmed for Rothesay Classic Birmingham and Rothesay International Eastbourne

Katie Boulter is set for action at the Rothesay Classic Birmingham and Rothesay International Eastbourne this summer, as the Brit adds another two events to her 2024 British grass court schedule.
Boulter, who had already confirmed her return to the Rothesay Open Nottingham last month, joins reigning Rothesay International Eastbourne champion Madison Keys and Naomi Osaka at the WTA 500 event in Eastbourne and is the first player confirmed on the entry list for the WTA 250 tournament at the Rothesay Classic Birmingham.
The 2023 grass court swing saw Boulter win her maiden WTA title at the Rothesay Open, after she defeated Britain’s Jodie Burrage in the final to become the first Brit to lift a tour-level title since Johanna Konta in 2021. This victory also saw the 27-year-old become the 23rd woman to claim the British No.1 title since the rankings began in 1975.
Just days after achieving one of the biggest feats of her career in Nottingham, Boulter went on to compete at the Rothesay Classic Birmingham where China’s Zhu Lin put an end to her winning streak in the first round.
She then moved on to the Rothesay International Eastbourne where she fell short against Croatia’s Petra Martic 6-4, 7-5 in the opening round before going on to match her tournament best at The Championships, Wimbledon by reaching the third round.
Boulter will enter this year’s grass court swing ranked almost 100 places higher than last year and with two WTA titles to her name, having been crowned a WTA 500 champion in San Diego back in March.
With limited tickets still available for the Rothesay Classic and Rothesay International, don’t miss out on the chance to watch the British No.1 in action this summer.
