The Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals will take place at the Allianz Cloud stadium in Milan. Previously known as the PalaLido, the world-class multi-sport facility regularly hosts basketball and volleyball games and has a capacity of just under 5,500 spectators.
What is the format of the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals 2022?
Like the Nitto ATP Finals, the Next Gen event will see the eight players divided into two round-robin groups. Once they have played everyone in their group, the top two players in each will progress to the semi-finals, before moving on to the final.
Known for introducing new and innovative rules, this year’s event will see:

Which British players will be competing in the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals 2022?
Jack Draper became the first Briton to ever qualify for the Next Gen ATP Finals earlier with a win over Jenson Brooksby in the opening round in Antwerp.
Draper – who is supported by our Pro Scholarship Programme – broke into the ATP top 50 for the first time earlier this year and is now up to a career-high at world No.45, following a breakout season in 2022.
He kick-started the year with four ATP Challenger titles in the first quarter of the season – a new record – before taking his talents to the ATP Tour, where he has continued to flourish. A semi-final run at the Rothesay International Eastbourne signalled his arrival on the main stage and he has since gone on to reach his first Masters quarter-final in Montreal, as well as progressing to the third round at the US Open.
