How to watch Andy Murray vs Matteo Berrettini in the Stuttgart Open final
• 2 MINUTE READ
Andy Murray’s grass court season has got off to a bang after reaching the final of the Stuttgart Open this week, where he will face world No.10 Matteo Berrettini.
Murray will go in search of his 47th career title and first on grass since Wimbledon 2016.
After a semi-final appearance in Surbiton, Murray headed to Stuttgart to continue his preparations for the cinch Championships and Wimbledon later this summer.
Murray has been back to his best in Germany having started the week with impressive straight sets wins over Christopher O’Connell and Alexander Bublik.
His attention then turned to top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas. Despite the Greek winning each of his first four service games to love, Murray came through with his first top 5 win since 2016 – coming through 7-6(4), 6-3.
Last up, a familiar face in Nick Kyrgios, in a match that promised plenty of fireworks. But Murray kept his 100% record in Stuttgart with a 7-6(5), 6-2 victory over the Aussie star.
Murray and Berrettini have faced each other twice, first in 2019, where the Brit won in Beijing and again at last year’s cinch Championships, where the Italian came out on top.
