With the Easter holidays just around the corner here’s your guide to tennis and padel activities for you and the family.
Easter activities for kids
Join a kids coaching course
Want a fun, exciting activity for the kids to get involved in this Easter? LTA Youth has you covered.
LTA Youth is our junior tennis coaching programme taking place at parks, clubs and other tennis venues all across Great Britain over the Easter holidays.
For complete beginners aged 4-11 we recommend LTA Youth Start – our introductory course that offers six lessons, a racket, balls, t-shirt and more for just £29.99 (+£5 P&P).
We also have beginner’s tennis lessons tailored just for girls. Prime Video LTA Youth Girls is packed with games and activities that makes tennis more social and engaging for girls.
If your kids have played before, try searching for your nearest LTA Youth courses to find the best tennis sessions in your area. There are classes for all ages (4-18) and abilities so there’s something for everyone.
In the meantime, find out more from our LTA Tennisables – six colourful characters on a mission to get children playing tennis – and see if the kids can complete their tennis challenges.
Easter activities for the family
Play at a tennis court near you
Tennis is for all the family, so this Easter, why not head down to your local park courts and have a hit together.
There are thousands of park courts across the country and in your local area where you can play tennis. Find and book tennis courts in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh and almost any other city or town in Britain with our easy-to-use booking tool.
It doesn’t matter if you’re all complete beginners or if you play more regularly, anyone can pick up a racket, get involved and have fun out on court.
If you are new to the sport, here’s some expert tips, tricks and games you can play to help you get started.
Try padel for the first time
Easy to pick up and hard to put down – padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
In Great Britian, we have over 350 padel court venues where you and the family can give it a try over the Easter holidays.
Padel is a brilliant sport for all ages and abilities. Played as doubles, it’s fun, social and easy for beginners to learn.
Don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment – most padel venues will have rackets and balls ready for you to hire.
