Just like that, the final Grand Slam of the season is upon us as the world’s best tennis stars prepare to head to New York City for the US Open.
From the latest schedule, to draws, prize money and player lists, find out everything you need to know about the US Open 2024.
Where is US Open 2024 being held?
Once again, this year’s US Open will be staged at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in Flushing Meadows - the largest tennis complex in the world.
Boasting an impressive 33 courts – including the iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium - the world-class facility has been home to the US Open every year since 1978 and is located in the heart of New York City.
What is the US Open schedule?
This year’s tournament will see the qualifying stages get underway between 19-22 August, with main draw action commencing on the 26 August through to the 8 September when the tournament will conclude with the men’s final.
The day sessions will start at 16:00 BST and the night sessions will begin at 00:00 BST.

Which British players are competing at the 2024 US Open
Women’s singles
This year’s US Open will see Katie Boulter lead a three-strong team of British women in the main draw. The British No.1 will arrive in New York with fond memories of last year, after she reached the third round for the first time in her career having defeated France’s Diane Parry and Wang Yafan.
Boulter has made a strong start to her American hard court swing, having strung together a run to the round of 16 at the National Bank Open and will be looking to kick on at Flushing Meadows.
Joining Boulter will be former US Open champion Emma Raducanu who will return to the tournament for the first time since 2022. Following her journey to the fourth round of Wimbledon, Raducanu has already hit the ground running on the hard courts, making the quarter-finals of the Mubadala Citi Open before being narrowly beaten by former world No.2 and eventual champion Paula Badosa.
Almost three years on from her historic triumph at the US Open, the 22-year-old will be hoping she can replicate the magic that led her to become the first British woman to win a Grand Slam title since 1977.
Completing the trio of women’s singles competitors is Harriet Dart. Like her compatriots, the British No.3 has put in some strong performances on the hard courts so far, coming through qualifying to reach the main draw of both the National Bank Open and Cincinnati Open – placing her in fine stead ahead of the final major tournament of the year.
Men’s singles
Over in the men’s draw, Jack Draper will be eager to channel the energy that led him to the fourth round at last year's tournament. The 22-year-old defeated 17 seeded Hubert Hurkacz during his run which eventually ended in defeat to eighth seed Andrey Rublev. The British No.1 has proven he’s got the skills to defeat some of the world’s best players, with victories over, four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, Matteo Berrettini and Frances Tiafoe in recent months and could be tipped to go far in New York.
Dan Evans completes the list of direct main draw entrants and will be gunning to find some form at Flushing Meadows.
Cam Norrie has been forced to withdraw as he continues his recovery from injury.
Doubles
Where else to start but with three-time champion Joe Salisbury. Salisbury and American partner Rajeev Ram made history last year when they won their third consecutive US Open men's doubles crown - becoming the first doubles partnership in the Open Era to achieve the feat.
The pair have been an unbeatable force at Flushing Meadows over the last few years but will they be able to extend their winning streak to take home a fourth title in New York?
Meanwhile, reigning Wimbledon champions Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara could be ones to rock the boat at this year's tournament off the back of claiming their maiden Grand Slam title in SW19 last month. A stacked doubles draw will also see Neal Skupski, Jamie Murray, Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool all compete in the men's draw, while Olivia Nicholls, Heather Watson and Dart will feature in the women's doubles draw.

*Due to the scheduling of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, there will be no wheelchair draw at this year’s US Open.
