• 1 MINUTE READ
The entry lists for Roland Garros 2025 have been announced, with seven British hopefuls gaining direct entry into the main draw.
Women's singles
Katie Boulter is the highest ranked British woman to feature in this year’s line-up as she returns to the French capital for only the second time in her career after making her debut in 2024.
Emma Raducanu knows what it takes to perform on the highest level in Grand Slam tournaments and will be hoping to continue her positive run of results at big events this year when she arrives at the French Open. The 22-year-old made the second round on her previous appearance back in 2022.
Rising star Sonay Kartal will play the main draw for the first time and has recently shown her quality on the clay with two wins at the Billie Jean King Cup in Netherlands.
Meanwhile, Jodie Burrage will make use of her protected ranking to gain direct entry. The British star has been in strong form since returning from injury last year and will be looking for her a win on her first appearance at Roland Garros.
Harriet Dart is 11th on the alternates list for the main draw.
Men's singles
On the men’s side, world No.6 Jack Draper, Jacob Fearnley and Cam Norrie will fly the flag for the Brits.
Draper is in the best form of his career at the moment. Off the back of a season where he won the first two ATP titles and made the US Open semi-finals, he recently became only the second Briton to win the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and broke into the top 10.
Fearnley’s stock continues to rise with the 23-year-old regularly picking up wins on the ATP Tour and earlier this year the young Brit managed to reach the third round of the Australian Open.
Norrie has made the third round at Roland Garros on three previous occasions and is also a former Wimbledon semi-finalist. He’s proved his quality on clay in the past and has won titles in Rio de Janeiro and Lyon on the surface.
Billy Harris is sixth on the alternates list for main draw entry.
The second Grand Slam of the year gets underway from 19 May – 8 June this year.
