Recent highlights: Barnett and Olivia Nicholls have sealed entry to the French Open main draw off the back of another year of big performances. The British duo won the title at the W60 Trnava in March and have since made semi-finals at the W100 Wiesbaden, W100 Oeiras and W60 Oeiras. They made their Australian Open debut at the start of the season and also claimed GBs only rubber in the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifier against France – defeating multiple Grand Slam champion Kristina Mladenovic and Clara Burel.

Recent highlights: Dart has kicked into form over the last three months, picking up some strong results on the ITF World Tennis Tour. Recently, she lifted the title at the W25 Nottingham without dropping a set and has also reached quarter-finals at the W40+H Calvi and W40 Murska Sobota. The 26-year-old recently represented Great Britain in the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers against France, pushing WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia to three sets and losing two tie-break sets to former world No.11 Alize Cornet.

Recent highlights: Watson is poised to push on from her two ITF World Tennis Tour finals so far in 2023. Earlier in the season she battled her way through to a runner-up finish at the W25 Glasgow, before coming through three-set matches to make the final at the W40+H Calvi in April. She’s also made the most of her appearances on the WTA Tour having made the quarter-final at Hua Hin and then coming through qualifying to reach the second round in Austin.

Recent highlights: Boulter has already lit up the ITF World Tennis Tour this season with a title and two runners-up medals to her name. She started the year by beating two Brits in Heather Watson and Jodie Burrage to win the W60 Canberra. Fast forward to May and Boulter has enjoyed a brilliant stretch in Japan, making the finals of both the W80 Gifu and W60 Fukuoka. The 26-year-old represented Great Britain at the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers in Coventry, coming within inches of beating WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia, just losing out 6-7(2), 7-6(4), 7-6(2).

Recent highlights: Having reached her first WTA semi-final at the back end of 2022, Swan continued to show her upward trajectory by qualifying for the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells back in March. While it’s been an up and down season for Swan so far, she’ll be hoping that the added experience playing in big WTA events will help her to a first French Open main draw.

Recent highlights: After a promising start to the season, stringing together some good results at the W60 Canberra and reaching the third round of qualifying at the Australian Open, it’s been an up and down year for Miyazki. She recently claimed her first clay court win of 2023 at the W60 Saint-Gaudens, where she narrowly missed out on the quarter-finals.

Recent highlights: Kartal has been consistent throughout this year and has had particularly good results on the clay. She added a seventh ITF title to her name on the clay at the W25 Santa Margherita as well as reaching the semi-final of the same event the following week and the W25 Platja D’Aro. As she’s moved up the levels she’s also shown she can be a strong competitor, with quarter-final appearances at two W60 events in Sunderland and Trnava.

Recent highlights: Norrie has been in brilliant form this season – he defeated world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz to win his first and only title of the year at the Rio Open and finished runner-up in Auckland and Buenos Aires. More recently on the clay he has reached the fourth round in Rome and third rounds in Madrid and Barcelona. The world No.13 has also been unbeaten playing for Great Britain this year, winning all three of his rubbers at the United Cup – including wins over Rafeal Nadal and Taylor Fritz – as well as carrying the Brits into the Davis Cup Finals with two wins in Colombia.

Recent highlights: Evans is finding his form at the right time ahead of the French Open with some impressive results on the clay. He’s made two semi-finals in the last six weeks, starting at Marrakech and then at the ATP 500 in Barcelona, where he defeated world No.11 Karen Khachanov and Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo. Following a third round appearance at the Australian Open, Evans helped Great Britain secure their place in the Davis Cup Finals with a doubles win against Colombia.

Recent highlights: One half of last seasons record-breaking doubles pair on the ATP Challenger Tour, Patten and fellow Brit Julian Cash have continued their brilliant form into 2023. The duo have added the Sarasota Open Challenger title to their trophy cabinet, while also picking up a runners-up finish at the US Clay Court Championships. They have consistently reached the latter stages of tournaments – with semi-finals in Pune and at Challenger events in Caligari and Phoenix – and will be hoping to make an impact on their Roland Garros debut.

Recent highlights: Despite a few troubles with injury, Draper’s rise on the ATP Tour has continued into 2023. An impressive start to the season saw the young Brit defeat three top 50 players to reach the semi-final semi-finals in Adelaide. Draper then went on to beat both Dan Evans and Andy Murray to make the fourth round at the ATP 1000 Indian Wells. The 21-year-old has only played one event on clay this year in Monte-Carlo. He knocked out world No.32 Sebastian Baez before narrowly losing to world No.13 Hubert Hurkacz in three sets.

Recent highlights: Murray has come into his own in this year after forming a new partnership with New Zealand’s Michael Venus. The pair have won two titles in Dallas and Banja Luka, as well as finishing runners-up in Adelaide earlier in the season. The trophy at the Srpska Open has marked a series of strong results on the clay, including quarter-finals at ATP 1000 events in Madrid and Rome.

Recent highlights: One of the biggest risers in men’s doubles last year, Glasspool has cemented his place at the top of the game. Another successful season so far has seen Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara win the title in Adelaide and finish runners-up in Dubai. The British, Finnish duo have only failed to reach at least the quarter-finals at two of 10 events and will be looking for a deep run in only their second appearance at Roland Garros.

Recent highlights: One half of the world No.1 duo, Skupski and partner Wesley Koolhof have continued as a dominant force in the men’s doubles game. So far this year, they’ve finished as runners-up in Indian Wells and Barcelona, as well as semi-finals in Rome, Adelaide and Acapulco, and a quarter-final at the Australian Open. Skupski also represented Great Britain at the Davis Cup Qualifiers – securing a crucial win over former world No.1s Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal alongside Dan Evans.

Recent highlights: Hewett is currently the best player in the men’s wheelchair game as world No.1 in both singles and doubles. He began the year with his first Australian Open double, marking his 23rd and 24th Grand Slam titles and also won the Super Series in Melbourne and ITF1 events in Georgia and Rotterdam. More recently he led Great Britain to their third World Team Cup title without dropping a set in either his singles or doubles matches. Returning to the French Open Hewett will be aiming for a fourth singles trophy in Paris and a 17th major doubles title.

Recent highlights: Reid has continued to dominate the men’s wheelchair doubles tournaments in 2023 with fellow Brit Alfie Hewett. The pair won their 17th doubles Grand Slam title at the Australian Open and have gone on to claim trophies at the Georgia Open and the Cajun Classic. In singles, Reid won the Bolton Indoor ITF2 back in February and has also made semi-finals at the Super series in Melbourne, the Cajun Classic and Seoul Korea Open. Earlier in May, Reid went undefeated in singles and doubles to help GB lift their third World Team Cup title in Portugal.

Recent highlights: British No.1 Shuker is hitting form at just the right time, having made singles finals at her last two events. She claimed her first title of the season at the UH Cougar Open before finishing runner-up at the Open de Vendee in France. In women’s wheelchair doubles, Shuker got her biggest result of the year alongside Dana Matthewson, winning the ITF1 Georgia Open title. Recently, she led Great Britain to a fourth place finish at the World Team Cup in Portugal.

Recent highlights: 15-year-old Xu has already climbed her way to a career-high junior ranking at world No.25. She closed out last year by reaching finals at the J1 Guadalajara and J2 Vigo, following a run to the third round at Junior Wimbledon. Last year’s LTA 16U and 18U Junior National Championships winner was forced to pull out with injury this year but will be looking to return with her debut at Roland Garros.

Recent highlights: Bonding is having a brilliant start to 2023 and will be hoping to carry it through to his debut at the French Open. Back in February he added a third J3 title to his name in Barranquilla and also made the final of the junior event in Indian Wells. Recently he impressed on the national stage as well, winning the LTA 16U Junior National Championships and coming runner-up in the 18U competition.

Recent highlights: 17-year-old Stoiber had her best career junior Slam result earlier this year – battling her way to the semi-finals at the Australian Open. This year she has also started to make the transition over to playing more women’s events on the ITF World Tennis Tour, reaching the second round of the W25 Nottingham before a brilliant run to her first professional final at the W15 Monastir, where she finished runner-up.

- Elite: for the highest performing players who are targeting major tournament success
- NTC Pro Access: providing cost-free access to the National Tennis Centre at Roehampton and the facilities there. This includes the hard, clay and grass courts, the specialist gym and strength and conditioning areas as well as other support on site, with players also eligible for the LTA's tournament bonus scheme
- Pro-Scholarship Programme: the highest level of support offered to developing players aged between 16 and 24 with the best chance of reaching the ATP/WTA top 100 singles
- Men’s & Women’s Programme: for the very best 16 to 21 year old players in the country who are not currently on the Pro Scholarship Programme (the programme is also available to 14 and 15 year olds in exceptional circumstances)
- Elite Wheelchair: for our highest performing players who are achieving major tournament success and have the potential to consistently win Grand Slam titles and Paralympic medals
