The British Olympic Association (BOA) have today announced the squad of players who will travel to Paris this summer to represent Team GB at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

For the first time since London 2012 Team GB will be represented by four men in the singles draw. Jack Draper, Cam Norrie and Dan Evans will all make their Olympic debuts and join Sir Andy Murray, OBE, who will be competing in his fifth Olympic Games and fifth in singles – no one else has played more. Murray is also the only player to win back-to-back Olympic titles in singles.

Katie Boulter will also make her Olympic debut in Paris competing in the women’s singles tournament. Whilst Tokyo 2020 Olympians Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury will compete in men’s doubles.

The rest of the doubles line-ups for men’s and women’s are expected to be confirmed by the ITF by end of June, with the mixed doubles sign-in confirmed on-site in Paris on 24 July.

Team GB Olympic tennis team:

  • Men’s singles: Jack Draper, Cam Norrie, Dan Evans, Andy Murray
  • Women’s singles: Katie Boulter

Tennis holds a unique place in the history of the Olympic Games, with Great Britain’s Charlotte Cooper of Ealing Lawn Tennis Club becoming the world’s first ever female Olympic Champion in any sport when she won singles gold in Paris in 1900.

Team GB Chef de Mission, Mark England said: “It’s a huge privilege to once again announce our tennis players for Team GB. The calibre of the team gets stronger with every Games, and it is great to see a mix of returning and first time Olympians. Two-time Olympic Champion Andy Murray was our flag bearer in Rio, and he continues to lead by example through his commitment to the Olympic Games and Team GB in what will be his fifth Olympics. We are also delighted to welcome back Joe and Neal as returning Olympians, and I am sure they will all pass on the best of their insight to the four debutantes of Katie, Jack, Cam and Dan.”

Iain Bates, LTA Olympic Team Leader, said: “We are thrilled with the team that we have been able to select for these Olympic Games in Paris, which promises to be one of the most exciting yet and we are all really looking forward to being part of Team GB. We are delighted to have four players in Jack, Cam, Dan and Katie all making their debut this year, joined by a decorated Olympian in Andy and a strong pairing of Joe and Neal playing their second Olympics.”

The Olympic tennis tournament will run from 27 July to 4 August at the Stade Roland Garros players will compete across five medal events: singles and doubles for both men and women and mixed doubles.
