Henry Patten set to make debut at Nitto ATP Finals in Turin
• 1 MINUTE READ
New British men’s doubles No.1 Henry Patten and Finnish partner Harri Heliovaara have sealed their place at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin from 10-17 November.
The Finals bring together the top eight ATP singles players and eight doubles pairs from the season to compete for the coveted title.
Patten and Heliovaara finished eighth in the ATP Doubles Race after a breakthrough six months together on tour.
The duo joined forces during the clay court season and have since gone on to win four ATP titles – including Marrakech, Lyon, Stockholm and a first Grand Slam at Wimbledon over the summer.
The British, Finnish partnership are one of four Grand Slam winning duos from this year competing in Turin – alongside Matthew Ebden and Rohan Bopana (Australian Open), Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic (Roland Garros) and Jordan Thompson and Max Purcell (US Open).
Patten will be looking to become only the second British player to win the end of season doubles title after four-time major champion Joe Salisbury lifted the trophy with Rajeev Ram in 2022 and 2023.
