As part of our goal of Tennis Opened Up and to make tennis as inclusive a sport as possible, we want to reiterate our ongoing support during Pride Month for LGBTQ+ communities across the country, and highlight that our events, along with the sport as a whole, are safe, inclusive and open spaces where people can be their authentic selves.
That’s why every Friday of our major events in 2024 will once again host ‘Friday Pride Days’. These events place a special focus on Pride and act as a platform to raise visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ inclusion in tennis.
We’d love it if as many people as possible attending the Lexus Surbiton Trophy brought as much colour as they can to the Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club. Whether it’s simply wearing rainbow laces or a wristband, or wearing your brightest, most colourful t-shirt or pair of trousers, it would be fantastic if you could show your colours in support of Pride.
Unfortunately, there is no left luggage facility on site. Spectators may not bring a bag larger than 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm) into the grounds. For spectator safety all bags are subject to inspection by our security team and are brought to the Tournament at the owner’s risk.
Please refer to the conditions of entry for guidance on what is prohibited on site.
All lost property will be taken to the Ticket Office by the gate entrance.
The balls used at the Lexus Surbiton Trophy are the Slazenger Wimbledon ball. As you can tell by the name; these are the same balls which are in use at The Championships, Wimbledon.
Balls used during Tournament matches can be purchased onsite.
Commemorative programme
If you're coming to the Lexus Surbiton Trophy this summer, make sure you grab your commemorative tournament programme for just £5. It's the ultimate companion for anyone watching tennis this summer, filled with exclusive content and updates on what's going on in communities across Britain to open tennis up.
You can pre-order your copy online when you buy your tickets, which you can collect when you arrive on the day. Or, if you've already secured your seats for the action, programmes will be available to buy on-site throughout the tournament.
If you wish to leave and re-enter the grounds you will need to collect a wristband from a Security team member on exiting the grounds. Please be aware you will be handed a wristband only when leaving the venue and not before.
In order to be re-admitted you will need to show both the wristband and a valid ticket. You will be subject to a bag search when re-entering the venue.
Our security plans are regularly reviewed, and a number of additions and improvements have been made for 2024. Extra security personnel, resources and measures have been employed.
In light of recent events, we will again be reviewing our security measures in conjunction with the relevant authorities to ensure that they remain at an appropriate level.
During the tournament, we would ask everyone arriving to the venue to allow enough time for security checks, and to check our official social media channels and website for any further updates and information.
