Accessibility
We want to make the Rothesay International Eastbourne as welcoming, inclusive and accessible as possible, working within the restrictions of a temporary outdoor venue.
Find out more about our accessibility measures in place at the Rothesay International Eastbourne.
Accessible car parking spaces are free and available with easy access to Gate 7. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
To book your accessible parking space, you need to opt in when purchasing your wheelchair accessible ticket online.
Alternative accessible parking is available at Saffrons (pay-to-park) and is available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a pay-for-bus service operating from this car park that can take one wheelchair per trip and drops off near Gate 2.
All accessible public catering facilities are located within the venue grounds in the grass areas either side of the South Stand seating structure of Centre Court.
We have accessible toilets located on the West side of Devonshire Park adjacent to Court 1 and Court 2.
Only certified assistance dogs are allowed on-site for Centre Court, Court 1 and Court 2 with a ticket for Wheelchair accessible seating areas.
Please note that there are no dog spending areas within the grounds, however a re-entry policy is in place to facilitate leaving the grounds.
To ensure everyone feels included, we’ve introduced sensory bags at our grass court tournaments. Each sensory bag includes:
- Ear defenders
- Ear plugs
- Sunglasses
- Fidget toys
These can be collected from the tournament information point.
You can buy tickets for wheelchair seating on Centre Court, Court 1 and Court 2, which provide space for one wheelchair user accompanied by a carer. The carer/companion ticket is complimentary.
