Here's everything you need to know to make your visit to the Rothesay Classic Birmingham as enjoyable as possible.

Come grab a racket and have a go!
This year there we have an activity zone on the courts across from the Events Lawn. There will be a variety of have-a-go activities including coaching, mini-tennis, swing-ball, mascot visits and much more.
The Rothesay Classic Birmingham is a cashless event with all outlets accepting credit and debit card payments.
There are no cash machines located within the grounds.
You're prohibited from bringing in the following:
- Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon, including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives, large corkscrews), pyrotechnics and 'personal protection' sprays.
- Bags larger than 16’’ x 12’’ x 12’’ (40cm x 30cm x 30cm).
- Large flags (max. 2’x2’/60cm x 60cm) banners, rattles, klaxons, oversized hats or any items causing an obstruction or nuisance.
- All promotional, commercial, political or religious items of whatever nature, including but not limited to banners, signs, symbols, marketing materials and leaflets (unless expressly authorised by the LTA).
- Spectators are advised that the use of laptops, professional video equipment is not permitted on site. Photographic equipment with lenses of more than 300mm, when extended, is not permitted on site.

To ensure players and fans have the best possible experience at the Rothesay Classic Birmingham, we have set the following guidelines for when you are in and around the courts:
- Please keep noise to a minimum during play.
- Please don’t leave your seat unless Players are at the bench.
- Mobile phones must be switched off in the vicinity of the courts.
- Please be respectful of those around you by ensuring that you do not obstruct their view or cause any unnecessary inconvenience.
- Flash photography is strictly forbidden in the stands.
- Photographic equipment with lenses of more than 300mm, when extended, is not permitted on site.
- No smoking on court. Only smoking allowed in the designated smoking area.
Gates will open to the public at 10am every day.
Kick back and relax on the Events Lawn. Relax on a deck chair, play some table tennis, and watch the Big Screen to see all the action happening on centre-court and beyond.
First Aid and medical provision will be provided during the tournament and can be found at the Ambulance located behind the West stand of Centre Court.

Unfortunately, there is no left luggage facility on site. You may not bring a bag larger than 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm) into the grounds. For your safety, all bags are subject to inspection by our security team and are brought to the tournament at the owner’s risk.

General lost property will be taken to the Box Office. For any items lost in the stand please speak to one of the Volunteers.
If you wish to leave and re-enter the grounds you will need to collect a wristband from a Security team member on exiting the grounds. Please be aware you will be handed a wristband only when leaving the venue and not before.
In order to be re-admitted you will need to show both the wristband and a valid ticket. You will be subject to a bag search when re-entering the venue.
The full tournament schedule and draw will be revealed in our score centre before the start of each day.
Play will start each day at 11am. We can't guarantee when play will finish as this will depend on the length of matches.
The safety and security of everyone involved in the tournament are very important to us. Our security plans are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain in line with the latest threat level and recommendations from our security advisors.
We have a range of measures in place to keep you safe and secure. These include extensively trained security staff, bag searches on entry, monitored CCTV, as well as other less visible measures.
During the tournament, we would ask everyone arriving to arriving at the Edgbaston Priory Club to remain patient, follow the instructions given by our Security Stewards and allow plenty of time for entry checks. Don’t risk bringing items or baggage which won’t be allowed into the grounds. You can find full details of prohibited items in the terms and conditions or the link below.

Smoking, which includes e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited within the stands of any court and in all areas covered by legislation. Those wishing to smoke within the venue must do so only in the designated smoking area provided within the Grounds, located behind the West Stand.

There are toilet facilities, including accessible toilets, located behind the West Stand of the Centre Court. Speak to one of our tournament Volunteers if you require any assistance.

Our Volunteers are present throughout the tournament grounds. They are there to help you find your way around; provide any information you need to enjoy your visit and to keep you safe. They are always on the look-out for people who may need assistance, so don’t be surprised if they pop up to say hello if you look lost. Please do ask them if you need any assistance.
