Accessibility
We want to ensure that the Rothesay Classic Birmingham is as welcoming, inclusive and accessible as possible, working within the restrictions of a temporary outdoor venue.
If you would like to see additional facilities at the tournament, or if you have any other personal requirements, please let us know below. Assistance on site is available should you need it, so please speak to an Event Volunteer.
A number of accessible car parking spaces are available at the EPC Car Park located on Sir Harry’s Road, with easy access to the main entrance to the tournament.
Accessible parking passes are required to be requested in advance via our digital booking system. To request an accessible parking space via our digital booking system please email Rothesay Classic Birmingham: RothesayClassicBirmingham@lta.org.uk.
We have accessible toilets located behind the West Stand of Centre Court near Court 1. There will be a map of the grounds available on site, or you can ask one of our volunteers on site for more information.
No dogs are allowed in the venue, except for certified assistance dogs. Certified assistance dogs are only allowed in the accessible seating areas on Centre Court.
Individuals wishing to access Centre Court with their certified assistance dog must buy a ticket for the accessible seating area.
All accessible public catering facilities are located within the venue grounds in the grass areas either side of the South Stand seating structure of Centre Court.
Head to the food & drink section for information on what will be available for 2024:
As part of our vision of ‘Tennis Opened Up’, we want everyone to feel included at our major events. That is why we’ve decided to introduce sensory bags at all LTA tournaments this 2024 grass court season.
Available for collection from our tournament information point, each sensory bag contains ear defenders, ear plugs, sunglasses and fidget toys, as pictured. Spectators who would like to use a sensory bag will be required to sign it out from the information point, and then sign it back in upon return.
Information point staff will be on hand to assist with this collection process.
There are a number of accessible wheelchair spaces available on Centre Court which provide space for one wheelchair user accompanied by a carer. Please note that the carer/companion ticket is complimentary. You can purchase wheelchair and essential companion tickets online ahead of the tournament.
Tickets are currently on sale for the Rothesay Open Birmingham, which can be purchased below:
