The safety and customer experience of our spectators is the main responsibility of the cinch Championships stewarding team. Stewards undertake a number of duties throughout the tournament including checking tickets, managing queues, monitoring crowds, guiding ticket holders to their seats, and answering queries from the general public. Having excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills are vital to help us make the cinch Championships 2025 an unforgettable experience.

How to apply
Applications for the cinch Championships 2025 will open on Thursday 16 January at 10:00am and close Sunday 16 February at 11:30pm. If you would like to be notified when applications open, please fill in the expression of interest form below.
Applications open: Thursday 16 January 2025

Selection sessions (new Stewards only): Thursday 27 February, Friday 28 February & Monday 3 March 2025
Steward training: Friday 6 June 2025
Tournament dates: Saturday 7 – Sunday 22 June 2025
Why should I become a steward?
As one of our stewards, you will have the opportunity to help deliver the one of the UK’s largest tennis events! You will also gain valuable sports and event experience and learn new skills whilst working alongside some amazing people.
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply as long as you are aged 18 and over, have the right to work in the UK, motivated and are available for the key dates above. Stewards need to be available to work for at least 12 days between 7 – 22 June 2025.
How can I apply?
You can apply via the online application form which will go live on Friday 16 January 2025 at 10:00am. To be notified when applications open, please fill in the expression of interest form above.
Will I need to attend an interview as part of the application process?
Applicants who have not previously worked at the cinch Championships will be asked to attend a group selection session held at the National Tennis Centre. Returning stewards will not be required to attend a selection session.
Is the role paid?
Yes, our stewards are paid the London Living Wage.
Will my expenses be covered?
Unfortunately we are unable to cover any travel, accommodation, or other incurred expenses in relation to this role.
Will food be provided?
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Will I receive a uniform?
Yes, you will receive a branded polo shirt, trousers, cap and jacket.
Will I receive training?
Yes, all stewards must complete mandatory training ahead of the start of the tournament. This will take place on Friday 6 June 2025 at The Queens Club.
Do I need to have any experience?
Previous stewarding experience is not essential for this role, albeit advantageous. However, the ability to demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills are a must for our team of stewards.
How many days am I expected to be available?
We are asking stewards to be available to work for a minimum of 12 days throughout the tournament period.
