The cinch Championships at The Queen's Club has been awarded ATP 500 Tournament of the Year at the annual ATP Awards for the second year in a row.
This is the fifth time in eight years that the historic event has won the award, which is voted for by players to recognise the leading standards set across events on the ATP tour.
The 2023 cinch Championships was certainly one to remember. In one of the most action-packed weeks of the British grass court season, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz triumphed to win his first title on the grass after defeating Alex de Minaur 6-4, 6-4, while Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek beat singles stars Taylor Fritz and Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-7(5), 10-3 to seal the doubles crown.
The wheelhair draw saw Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid lift a maiden doubles title at the Queen's Club after beating Joachim Gerard and Stephane Houdet 1-6, 7-5, 10-3, while Hewett finished runner-up in the singles draw - just missing out to Gerard, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Chris Pollard, LTA Director of Major Events and Digital said, “We are absolutely delighted to have been voted ATP500 Tournament of the Year by the players again this year.
"The LTA takes great pride in continuously improving the experience of the players who come to the tournament, and this award is recognition of the hard work of the LTA event team and the collaborative way in which they work with the Queen’s Club, the ATP and a number of other sponsors and suppliers to deliver a world-class event.
"We look forward to delivering further enhancements and innovations to the Tournament in 2024."
