Padel beginnings

Mohindra first found padel at his local David Lloyd Club in Chigwell in 2013. He didn't take to it immediately as he was a keen football player at the time. In 2017, when he had left school and started working for the family business, Mohindra found himself quite bored in the evenings to started playing padel in the social sessions at the club which he instantly took a liking to.

He fell in love with the sport due to its unique characteristics, such as being able to continue to rally from outside of the court and also play the ball off the side and back walls. He also finds the social aspect of the sport second to none due to the doubles format.

Mohindra played his first domestic tournament in 2018 and grew to love the sport. He frequently travelled to Spain to play local tournaments and train in Barcelona.

After being selected to join Team GB in 2021, he knew he wanted to pursue a professional career in padel and would make longer trips to train at some of the best academies in the world.
