Despite having been selected to represent Great Britain during their Billie Jean King Cup Play-Off tie against Mexico in 2021, British No.2 Jodie Burrage is relishing the prospect of helping guide her nation to the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers.
With just days to go until the Brits face Sweden in their Billie Jean King Cup Play-Off tie at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park between 11-12 November, we caught up with Burrage who reflected on one of the most memorable years of her career so far and what it would mean to her to represent her country for the very first time.
Burrage is joined by British No.1 Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Heather Watson and debutant Maia Lumsden as the Lexus GB Billie Jean King Cup team to take on Sweden this weekend, led by team captain Anne Keothavong.
