Great Britain will take on France in a home qualifying tie for a place in the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Finals.
The Brits will face France from 14-15 April with the venue for the tie yet to be announced.
18 nations will compete in the qualifiers for next year’s finals – 10 of the teams placing third to 13th at the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Glasgow, and the eight play-off winners.
The winners of the qualifiers will advance to next year's finals, while the loser will have to compete in a play-off tie later in the year to return to qualifying for 2024.
The Brits reached the semi-finals of the Finals for the first time since 1981 this year, narrowly missing out on a place in the final in the match tie-break of the deciding doubles rubber against Australia.
France were defeated by Italy in the qualifiers earlier this year, but recorded a 3-1 win over Netherlands thanks to victories from WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia, Alize Cornet and Diane Parry.
