Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2022: Great Britain’s semi-final to be shown live on BBC Two

• 2 MINUTE READ

Great Britain’s semi-final clash against Australia at the Billie Jean King Cup will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 10:00 on Saturday 12 November.

The Brits will be competing in their first Billie Jean King Cup semi-final since 1981 as they aim to reach the final for the fifth time in the tournament’s history.

The tie will also be available on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, with full coverage of the whole competition on BT Sport.

The Brits reached the semi-final off the back of a historic 3-0 victory over Spain in the final match of Group C. Heather Watson got the Brits off to a blinding start with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Nuria Parrizas-Diaz, before Harriet Dart upset world No.13 Pauala Badosa in straight sets.

With a spot in the semis on the line, doubles duo Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nicholls continued their 100% record in Glasgow as they took down Aliona Bolsova and Rebeka Masarova 7-6(5), 6-2.

Their opponents in the semi-finals – Australia – are unbeaten so far in the tournament, recording a 2-1 win over Slovakia and a 3-0 victory against Belgium.
