12U GB Representation
When it comes to representing your country, there is no feeling quite like it. Pulling on that Great Britain (GB) tshirt and walking onto court with the flag on your chest is an incredibly proud moment.
There are a number of opportunities to represent GB on the tennis court, most poignantly is at Winter and Summer Cups.
Winter & Summer Cups
These events are run by Tennis Europe and are held with qualifying and finals across Europe. They typically run in January for Winter Cup and June / July for Summer Cup. Team GB have done well at these events in recent years with our U12 Winter Cup Girls Team bringing home the trophy in 2024, which you can read about here.
You can find more information about the Winter and Summer Cups on the Tennis Europe website.
If you want to get a sense of what these events are like, take a look at the 14U GB Representation page for a video of the Summer Cup experience.
International Friendly Matches
Our friendly International Matchplays are another opportunity on our Player Pathway to represent Great Britain. They are typically a three-day competition with other nations to provide an environment that replicates the levels of international tennis and the pressures that come with representing your country, whilst making it a fun and enjoyable experience.
We both host these and also travel abroad of which brings an added experience to the junior players by learning new cultures, becoming travel savvy, and making new life-long friends. Most recently a group has travelled to Tarbes to compete against France.
Previously competed against:
- France
- Belgium
