10U

At 10U it’s likely that you’ve got a few matches under your belt and are playing with green and/or yellow ball.

It’s at this age and stage where we try and elevate our pathway activities and provide opportunities for players to push their abilities and test their characteristics in both demanding and fun environments. It’s at this age and stage where our camps increase to overnight stays and you may experience your first International Trip led by our National Age Group Coaches.

National Coaches

We have a number of 10U National Coaches covering different regions and player bases across the UK. You will most likely see them at National Competitions; get to know them a little more below.

We would hope that all young tennis players looking to progress through the Player Pathway would aspire to be invited to our National Camps and Official Trips, and aim to be a regular competitor in National Competition.

Take a look through activity and experiences we support and provide at this age and stage below.

National Camps

National Camps are invitational, two-day residential camps designed for high-potential girls aged 9-10 years old. Delivered up to twice per year, these camps are led by the 10U National Age Group Coach and supported by the team of 10U National Pathway Coaches.

Currently, National Camps at the 10U age group are exclusively delivered for girls. Boys participate in similar development experiences through extended inter-regional camps, which allow us to accommodate a slightly larger pool of players and involve longer camp durations. This tailored approach reflects the differing impacts of growth, maturation, and competitive norms between boys and girls at this age.
