Find out who has been nominated for the October Player of the Month Awards and vote for your favourite players.
How does it work?
Every month, three players will be nominated for each of the following categories:
- Women’s singles
- Men’s singles
- Doubles
- Wheelchair
Voting closes at 23:59 on Sunday 10 November.
These nominees are based on performances at events that finished within October (Rolex Paris Masters and Hong Kong Open not included).
Men’s
- Lifted the biggest title of his career at the ATP 500 Erste Bank Open
- Made the quarter-finals of the Tokyo Open
- Reached a career-high ranking of world No.15
- Defeated five top 50 players in Vienna and Tokyo – including Hubert Hurkacz and Lorenzo Musetti
Johannus Monday
- Went undefeated in October (15/15) – including three ITF titles in USA
- Won three M25 events in Louisville, Harlingen and Norman
- Dropped just three sets in the whole month
Anton Matusevic
- Won his first M25 title in Edgbaston – with three set wins over Henry Searle and Federico Bondioli in the semis and final
- Finished runner-up at the M25 Glasgow the following week
Women’s
- Reached the semi-final of the WTA 500 event in Japan
- Made the second round of the China Open and Ningbo Open
- Lifted her seventh title of the season at the Lexus W100 Shrewsbury
- Reached a new career-high ranking of 92
- Finished runner-up at the Lexus W100 Shrewsbury
Doubles
- Crowned Swiss Indoors Basel champion with John Peers
- Came through qualifying and won five straight match tie-breaks
- Defeated top seeds Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic in the final
- Stockholm Open title-winner with Harri Heliovaara – his fourth title of the season
- Made the semi-final at the ATP 500 Vienna
- He reached a career-high of No.15 in the doubles
- became British No.1 for the first time
- Tokyo Open champions in their first tournament together
- This was Cash’s third title of the season and Glasspool’s second in 2024
Wheelchair
- Won the Kaohsiung Open singles title
- Claimed the Eureka Cup Taiwan Open doubles crown with Ho Won Im
- Won both the singles and doubles title at the Kaohsiun Open
- Clinched back-to-back doubles titles at the Eureka Cup Taiwan Open
- Kaohsiung Open doubles champion with Sakhorn Khanthasit
