Player of the Month
November Player of the Month winners announced
It was a tough call this month but the Advantage members have spoken, as we reveal which players took home our Player of the Month awards.
Men’s singles – Ryan Peniston
It was a month to remember for Ryan Peniston who picked up two M25 titles in November.
The M25 Heraklion marked Peniston’s first title of the year, and spurred the 29-year-old on to some momentum on the ITF tour. Off the back of winning the title in Heraklion, Peniston went on to extend his match winning streak to 10, after clinching the crown in Monastir.
Even more impressively, Peniston didn’t drop a set across either run to the title in Heraklion and Monastir – seeing him round off the year in promising form heading into the 2025 season.
Women's singles - Katie Boulter
It's back-to-back titles for Katie Boulter who has swept up successive Player of the Month crowns.
Boulter began November by reaching her second WTA 500 final of the year at the Hong Kong Open. Despite a dominant start to the week, the 28-year-old eventually fell short to top seed Diana Shnaider in the final to miss out of the silverware.
The three-time WTA titleist then carried her form from the hard courts in Asia to the international stage where she helped spearhead her nation to the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals.
There, she produced two faultless displays against Germany's Laura Siegemund and Canada's Leylah Fernandez to send the Brits to the final four where they eventually bowed out.
Overall, it's been another sensational season for the British No.1, who concludes the year having earned a career-high ranking of world No.23 in November.
Doubles – Jamie Murray
Jamie Murray is a worthy winner of this month’s doubles Player of the Month after claiming his third ATP title of the year.
The Brit – who has spent the second half of the season competing alongside John Peers – played his final tournament of the year at the Belgrade Open, where the British, Australian pair sprinted to the final. There, they defeated Ivan Dodig and Skander Mansouri 3-6, 7-6(5), 11-9 to secure the silverware.
Murray adds this title to the ones he picked up earlier in the year at the Swiss Indoors Basel and Doha, with Michael Venus.
Wheelchair – Gordon Reid
Gordon Reid has been crowned the well-deserved of the Wheelchair Player of the Month award after a standout month in November at the year-end championships.
Competing at the NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters, Reid came through two tough matches against Gustavo Fernandez and Stephane Houdet to reach the semi-final where he brushed aside Martin De la Puente 6-2, 6-1 to reach the final. There, he stole the first set against world No.1 Tokito Oda before eventually losing out in three to finish runner-up.
Reid also finished runner-up in the Uniqlo Wheelchair Doubles Masters alongside Alfie Hewett after the pair lost to De la Puente and Joachim Gerard in straight sets.
His accomplishments in the Netherlands sees Reid end the year ranked world No.5 in the singles and 2 in the doubles.
