The first Player of the Month winners of the 2025 season have been crowned.

With so many standout performers in January, it was a tough one to call, but here are your winners for the month of January…

Women’s singles – Katie Boulter

It's back-to-back titles for Katie Boulter who has swept up successive Player of the Month crowns.

Boulter picked up where she left off in 2024 – beginning her year in Sydney at the United Cup where she spearheaded the Brits to the quarter-finals.

The British No.1 secured victories over Argentina’s Nadia Podoroska and Australia’s Olivia Gadecki to set up a quarter-final clash against Poland. There, she pushed world No.2 Iga Swiatek in a three-set epic that eventually ended in favour of the Pole.

From there, Boulter made her way to Melbourne and the Australian Open where she beat Rebecca Marino before eventually bowing out in the second round.

Men’s singles – Jacob Fearnley

It was a month to remember for Jacob Fearnley – an appearance in the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time and a maiden Davis Cup call up make him a worthy winner of the men’s singles crown.

Off the back of his meteoric rise last season, Fearnley secured himself a spot in the main draw of the Australian Open and a first round clash against home favourite Nick Kyrgios. After upsetting the Aussie on his home turf, the British No.3 defeated Arthur Cazaux to reach the third round in Melbourne where he lost out to eventual runner-up Alexander Zverev.

His good fortunes didn’t stop there though. After receiving his first call up to join the Lexus GB Davis Cup team for their qualifying tie against Japan, Fearnley went on to secure a first win for his country against former world No.4 Kei Nishikori and become Colour Holder No.328.

He also reached the semi-final of the ATP Challenger event in Canberra.

Doubles – Henry Patten

A standout campaign Down Under led Henry Patten to be crowned your doubles Player of the Month.

The Brit once again continued his partnership with Finland’s Harri Heliovaara for the new season where they reached the final four at the Adelaide International.

However, it was at the Australian Open where they hit their peak form to claim their second Grand Slam title – adding to the one they picked up at Wimbledon last summer. In the final, the British, Finnish pair came back from a set down to defeat Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori to seal a historic victory.

The win saw Patten move up to a career-high ranking of world No.3.

Wheelchair - Alfie Hewett

You have voted Alfie Hewett as your wheelchair Player of the Month following his journey to a 10th Grand Slam single title.

Hewett claimed his second Australian Open singles title after beating world No.1 and long-time rival Tokito Oda in a straight set victory.

The 27-year-old joined forces with Gordon Reid for the doubles event where they made it six successive Australian Open men's wheelchair doubles titles at Melbourne Park. More impressively, the Brits didn't drop a set on their way to the silverware - capping off a dominant week with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Daniel Caverzaschi and Stephane Houdet.

Prior to that, the pair had lifted the ITF Super Series Melbourne Wheelchair Open title, while Hewett also finished runner-up in the singles draw.
