Beyond the Baseline, presented by Lexus – a behind-the-scenes docu-series going into the world of British professional tennis – is back for a second series.

In episode five, we hear about what it means to compete at The Championships, Wimbledon as a British tennis player.

Jay Clarke and Emily Appleton compete in the qualifying stages at Wimbledon, while wild card entrant Lily Miyazaki gets her main draw campaign underway in SW19.

Dahnon Ward opens up about his inspiring journey into wheelchair tennis, competes against one of his tennis idols, Alfie Hewett, and looks ahead to his first Paralympic Games in Paris.

The six-part series shines a light on six performance players in British tennis across their busy seasons – following all the highs and lows of being a professional athlete on tour.

Each episode tells a player’s personal story in the sport and showcases the hardwork and dedication both on and off the court in their bid to reach the top of the game.
