Tennis Wales has announced plans to recruit a National Pathway Coach for Padel in Wales, helping develop programmes, competitions and pathways for Welsh padel players across the country.
The National Pathway Coach will be contracted to plan and deliver a National Training Programme for Welsh padel players and establish development and performance regional hubs. The role will see the National Pathway Coach support and nurture our network of padel coaches with a specific focus on creating regional hubs that can help juniors and adults in both North and South Wales.
The exciting new role will add value to our growing padel community here in Wales and work closely with the LTA to develop the British padel pathway.
Matt Rutland, National Development Manager of Tennis Wales said
‘We’re delighted to recruit for this new role here at Tennis Wales. We’re continuing to grow and develop Padel here in Wales, and with more courts being developed across the country, we’re now able to develop the pathway for our players to regularly train and compete”.
Applications for the newly created National Pathway Coach are now open until the 25th April.
