Tennis Wales Awards 2023 - Nominations Open
The nominations for the Tennis Wales Awards 2023 are now open (1 October). These awards aim to celebrate and reward the volunteers, coaches and venues across Wales.
The awards recognise the many thousands of inspirational individuals involved in tennis, dedicating their precious time and energy to the continual development and growth of the sport.
Nominations for the 2023 Awards are open until 30 November and can be submitted via an online nomination form.
There are 16 award categories to choose from covering both individual and collective recognition and criteria for each category has been set to give nominees a clear indication of what the Tennis Wales and the LTA would expect to see from the award winners.
Whats more is that winners for 13 of the categories will automatically be put forward as a nomination for the LTA Awards, being held later on in 2023. Last year our Volunteer of the Year, Susie Griffiths went on to win the LTA Volunteer of the year.
Tennis Wales CEO, Simon Johnson said: " Each year we recognise the amazing people, places and projects across Welsh tennis. The Tennis Wales Awards are a great way for us to say Diolch to our tennis community. I'd love to see more nominations than ever and look forward to celebrating the achievements from Welsh tennis.
