Patsy Roseblade appointed to join Tennis Wales Board

Tennis Wales, the National Governing Body for tennis in Wales has concluded its recruitment for an Independent Director to join the organisation. Having undertaken a thorough recruitment process with over 130 applicants, Patsy Roseblade has been appointed to the Board as the organisation looks to deliver its 2020 – 2024 strategy for tennis opened up across Wales.

“Patsy brings a superb skillset and background to support our work here at Tennis Wales. We’re pleased to welcome her to the Board and her extensive career in the public sector, working in leadership roles in the NHS will add value to our Board and team here in Tennis Wales”.
Patsy has 20 years experience in senior roles in health bodies across Wales and England, including her time as interim CEO for the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust, and more recently in a governance role at the Swansea Bay University Health Board.
Commenting on her desire to join Tennis Wales as a Director, Patsy added
“I am delighted to have been asked to join the Board of Tennis Wales. Along with my passion for tennis I hope the experience I have gained in my professional career will help me carry out this role and ultimately help Tennis Wales achieve the ambitious plans included within the 2020 - 2024 strategy”
Tennis Wales’ new 2020 – 2024 vision for tennis opened up across Wales launched earlier this year, and with 1,200 tennis courts across Wales, the Governing Body is committed to growing the game by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming & enjoyable right across the country in the years ahead.
Patsy Roseblade joins the Board in October 2020, as tennis continues to open up following the Covid-19 restrictions.
