Mascot Design Competition

We’re looking for children aged 12 and under to help us create the next official mascot for Tennis Wales.

The aim of the mascot is to make Tennis Wales resources more accessible for children. Making it more friendly & welcoming.

This is an opportunity to let young people to turn their own mascot design into reality! They can design how the mascot will look and give it a name. The winning mascot will be turned into a professional design by professional illustrator 'A Guy Called Minty', this will allow the children’s design to be used as a professional digital asset.

What We’re Looking For:

The mascot should represent both the Sport of Tennis and the Spirit of Wales. We will ask people to use elements that reflect Wales’s heritage, culture, and passion for sport. We want them to think bold, fun, and unique so it stands out. The design should also be able to be adapted to represent Visually Impaired, Wheelchair & Para Standing Tennis.

  • Chromebook, HEAD Junior racket & HEAD branded bag

3 Runners-Up Prizes:

  • £10 Amazon Voucher, Tennis Wales goody bags

How to Enter:

  1. Use the Tennis Wales Mascot Template provided to create your design.
  2. Include the following details:
    1. Mascot’s Name
    2. Your Name
    3. Your Age
  3. Submit your design via email to tenniswales@tenniswales.org.uk with the subject line: “This is my Mascot” by 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday 12th January 2025.  Postal copies will also be accepted to Tennis Wales, Office 10, Space 2B at The Maltings, Cardiff, CF24 5EA, but make sure you put your contact details on the reverse.
