Tennis Wales Coaches Conference, 15th/16th February 2020

Tennis Wales are delighted to announce the return of the Coaches Conference for 2020.

This conference will be the flagship event of the Welsh coach CPD calendar and coaches will benefit from 2 days of excellent content to support them out in the field including the new LTA Junior Programme training. They will also receive a merchandise pack to include a Tennis Wales Coaches Conference hooded top from our soon to be announced clothing partner, 12 CPD credits towards their coach accreditation, free use of David Lloyd facilities over the weekend and much, much more all for just £85. We are also providing subsidy for coaches working in Wales who are travelling over 100 miles, please see attached our conference poster for more information.

We are excited to announce our keynote speaker for the event - Dan Kiernan, Director of Tennis at Soto Academy and coach to Wales’s Evan Hoyt, Quarter finalist at Wimbledon in 2019. Dan is a former British #1 Doubles Player and has nearly 20 years of coaching experience through all levels including coaching 2012 Juniors Boys Australian Open Champions, Josh-Ward Hibbert and Liam Broady. Dan has also had several juniors competing at Junior Grand Slams, he has coached WTA/ATP players including WTA tournament winners and top 100 WTA Players.

Commenting on the conference Dan said:

“I am thoroughly looking forward to spending time sharing ideas with the coaches in Wales in February. I hope to bring some fresh ideas and practical ways of training the mind and developing a fitter mind for tennis, not too dissimilar from physical fitness! I look forward to seeing you all soon”
