Cameron Rae was part of a history-making Great Britain team which won the B12 2025 Tennis Europe Winter Cup by Dunlop.
The young Scot won all three of his matches in doubles at the event in Sunderland without dropping a set.
For GB, it was their first title at the Winter Cup since 2013 when the team featured Davis Cup stars Jacob Fearnley and Jack Draper.
GB proved too strong for Romania in the opening round before beating Denmark in the last four and Poland in the final – coming through the entire competition without dropping a rubber.
Stirling become national university champions
The University of Stirling are celebrating becoming national champions, clinching the coveted title after finishing runners-up in each of the past two years.
The team of Liam Hignett, Scott MacAulay, Cameron Fryer, Kyle McKay, Patrick Young and Robert Cowley secured the BUCS National League title with a 6-0 win over Nottingham, before celebrating their success with a 4-2 victory over Durham.
McHugh, Murray & Duncan enjoy strong weeks on pro tour
Scot enjoyed strong weeks at pro tour events around the world, with three men reaching the latter stages in the doubles.
Aidan McHugh reached the final at the M15 Huamantla in Mexico, held as part of the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The Scot teamed up with Charles Barry from Ireland, the pair dropping just one set en route to the decider, where they faced the top-seeded American team of Pranav Kumar and Noah Schachter.
Despite battling hard throughout, McHugh and Barry had to settle for the runners-up spot after being edged out 3-6, 6-7 (2).
Jamie Murray and regular partner John Peers, meanwhile, enjoyed a run to the semi-finals at the Dallas Open, an ATP 500 event.
The third seeds came through a match tie-break in the last eight to set up a meeting with the eventual champions Christian Harrison and Evan King, falling to the American qualifiers 4-6, 2-6.
In the first of back-to-back ATP Challenger Tour events in Tenerife, Scott Duncan joined forces with Alexandru Jecan to reach the last four, where they ended up on the receiving end of a match tie-break to wildcards Nicolas Alvarez Varona and Inaki Montes-De La Torre.
