LTA Tennis Rankings
Want to know where you stand compared to the rest of Britain? Your LTA ranking represents an overall order of merit with players positioned according to points acquired in domestic and international tournaments from both singles and doubles events.
It’s your ranking within your county, region and nationwide.

Combined Rankings
The combined rankings cater for all players in 11U to Open age groups, with all players appearing on one list.
Players competing in 30+ and above age groups have their own age group rankings - see Senior Rankings below.
We keep our rankings fresh and up-to-date - you can check out the latest changes every Friday. Players move up and down based on the points they win at recent competitions.
Senior Rankings
The Seniors Rankings cater for all players competing in 30+ and above age groups. Seniors players can get a doubles ranking and/or singles ranking which incorporates domestic and international ITF World Tennis Masters Tour events for GBR players only. There are separate singles and doubles ranking lists to include Male 30+, Female 30+ to Male 90+ and Female 90+ ranking categories.
Seniors singles and doubles ranking are made up of a player's best 4 singles/best 4 doubles results (which may be from the previous age group, excluding Open) within the previous 52 weeks. A multiplier of 2 is applied to both UK and international ITF World Tennis Masters Tour point allocations. The ITF World Tennis Masters Tour regulations are used for point allocations, whereby regardless of the number of entries in the draw, points are allocated to players.

Recent Form
Recent form (9U & 10U) is calculated using the player's best 3 individual performances in Grade 1 to 5 competitions over the last 6 month.
Disability Leaderboards
Leaderboard points are awarded for all LTA Disability Competitions across the following impairments:
- Wheelchair
- Visually Impaired
- Learning Disability
- Deaf
Across all impairments, a leaderboard score is calculated from the total of the player’s best 3 singles results and 25% of the best 3 doubles results within the previous 52 weeks. You can check out the latest changes to leaderboards every Friday. Players move up and down based on the points they win at recent competitions.

Age group progression rules
When you leave an age group you may retain your LTA ranking points for up to 12 months. These will be taken into account when calculating a player’s best six singles and/or doubles results.
For example, if a player plays and wins a 11U event in February Half Term 2022, these results will be used (if they are in their top six) for up to 12 months despite the player no longer being an 11U player.
The same example applies to 12U to 14U, 14U to 16U, 16U to 18U and 18U to open.
International Multipliers
When it comes to junior internationals, points from Tennis Europe 14U, Tennis Europe 16U and ITF Junior competitions will be added to British tennis rankings to reward GBR players for competing all over the world and make your ranking more accurate.
No matter if you’re playing singles or doubles events – all points will be included.
A multiplier is applied to international ranking points assigned by Tennis Europe and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to reflect a player’s stature in the British Tennis Ranking system. It’s used at each ranking run if the player is amongst the six highest in singles and doubles events.
The international point multipliers for junior events are:
- 14U x 15
- 16U x 7
- 18U x 40
Play up rules
Players can compete in any age group event in a tournament to gain a ranking. They are subject to the following play up rules:
