No, the Lexus Eastbourne Open is no longer just a women's competition. In 2015 and 2016, Eastbourne was a women's event, with the men’s competition returning to Nottingham. However in 2017 the Eastbourne tournament returned to being a combined event for men and women.  

Daria Kasatkina earned her maiden grass court title following straight sets win over Leylah Fernandez 6-3, 6-4.

Taylor Fritz etched his name in the history books after becoming the first three-time champion in Eastbourne. The American won in straight sets over Australia's Max Purcell, 6-4, 6-3.

In the women's doubles, Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok won their fourth doubles title together, defeating Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski.

The men's doubles crown went the way of British, Kiwi duo Neal Skupski and Michael Venus. The pair fought back to defeat John Peers and Matthew Ebden 4-6, 7-6(2), 11-9.
