Now in it’s 10th year, the schools festival brings 2000 local school children to the event for tennis coaching and the opportunity to watch some world class tennis and inspire the next generation

Tennis ball recycling 

An estimated fifteen million tennis balls are thrown away each year in Great Britain. Most balls will only be played with for 4-6 hours on court, but each ball can take up to 300 years to degrade in landfill. 

The LTA is supporting tennis ball recycling across Britain, and if you are attending the Lexus Nottingham Open, you can bring your old balls to the information point for recycling.

Please avoid bringing tubes into the ground.
